Mission
EnBW Sweden reached out to Welcom seeking assistance with their website. They required support in restructuring the menu and elevating the design and strucutre of the landing- and project pages.

Goal
The goal was to make the landing- and project pages more in line with the EnBW brand and structure of the Global site.
The goal was also to make the project pages more informative, highlight the benefits of wind energy and invite target audience landowners to conversation.
Process
One of the biggest challenges in the project was to organize the information on the project pages to ensure user understanding and accessibility.
Through competitor research and regular consultations with the client, we were able to refine the layout and content resulting in a user-friendly and informative experience for visitors.
To enhance the appeal to our target audience landowners, we incorporated news sections and a contact form on the page, fostering engagement and encouraging dialogue.
Menu sitemap
The existing menu contained numerous links, some of which directed to the same page. By consolidating and rearranging certain links, we streamlined the menu for easier navigation and ensured scalability for future enhancements.
When reorganizing the menu, we introduced a new information subpage and created additional pages for areas that were previously not represented.
WCAG
As part of the project I conducted a initial WCAG 2.1 check, focusing on text contrast, header tags and alt texts. This effort was greatly appreciated by the client who recognized the importance of accessibility
Learnings
One challenge with this project was the limitation of using only existing blocks and adapting them to the new content. However, I found it to be a stimulating challenge that engaged my problem-solving skills.
I also honed my skills in effectively communicating ideas and concepts to the client, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the project collaboration process.
